“I would like to thank Barry and Sonya Samms for another great Newfoundland adventure.
I’ve been to a few camps and harvested some big animals, but I was surprised when the second day came and the hunt was on !
Barry and guide Chris bishop asked if I would like to hunt an even more remote camp they had.
We loaded the Argo and off we went. My three buddies were already tagged out at the fly in camp. On our journey we saw caribou,and a couple nice bulls that wanted nothing to do with us. Hours later we reached our destination,we glassed and spotted a bull of a lifetime. We called and his actions gave us hope for the next morning.
I don’t think any of us slept,sun rises and that monster was exactly where we left him. Chris gave a few grunts and it was on. There were other bulls responding but we all wanted him. It wasn’t long and a 50” 19 point bull was in my crosshairs.
Oh ya, the food and staff were amazing!
