Hunting has always been a part of life for the Samms family. Barry grew up seeing his father hunting, fishing and trapping and then doing so himself when he became of age. Barry and his wife, Sonya are experienced business owners and managers as they successfully were self-employed farmers for many years. While Outfitting is fairly new to them, over the past 3 seasons they have thoroughly enjoyed their time exploring the hunting area, guiding and hosting clients!

Growing up on a family farm as well as hunting, fishing and trapping with his family. Barry has learned to appreciate nature and animals but most of all established the strong work ethic that he has today. He and his wife Sonya have been successfully self-employed as farmers most of their adult life. Through their experience as business owners they have developed great management skills including having good working relationships with clients, employees and industry personal. Personally, Barry is known among family and friends as a being friendly, talkative, positive, hardworking and entertaining… all characteristics beneficial to being an outfitter.
